Behind the mountains that protect el Camp in the north side, there is a wide hilly country where pigs, cows, cereals and hay are grown. In this territory, spread little farm towns form a net of rural communities. On the outskirts, there are many big sheds used to store the hay that will be eaten by the animals in the farms. They are full in winter, empty in summer.
Catalan law makes it very difficult to build a home in the countryside, even if you are a farmer.
